Evangelism & Discipleship Committee

As the name implies, the Evangelism and Discipleship (E&D) committee is in charge of running discipleship and evangelistic events and programs within and outside of Commonwealth Avenue Baptist Church (CABC). To fully define the tasks and limitations of E&D, the functions of the E&D are summarized into four categories:

Supporting of missions agencies and training institutions E&D supports mission agencies and individual missionaries who work in Ontario.

Provision of materials, resources and means to connect E&D is responsible for providing materials and resources related to evangelism such as cards and tracts. In addition, E&D is also in charge of the church website and the production of quarterly church newspapers

Courses Some of the courses that E&D has initiated include Christianity Explored and Discipleship Explored.

Outreach and Field Exposure E&D leads most of the outreach and field exposure programs in CABC. Some of these programs include church planting (Etobicoke) and short term mission trips. CABC also has a drama ministry that is directly under this category - ACTS (Actors for Christ, Talents to Serve)
