Mission Task Force

The Mission Task Force or MTF is committed to any endeavour to promote Mission works in our local congregation. We strive to be obedient to all scripture and aim to faithfully raise, equip, send and fully support missionaries from our local church, as well as those supported by CABC internationally to reach mankind with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

We desire to obey the direct command of Christ to His people (Matthew18:18-20 ;John 20:21; Mark 16:15), to be one with Christ in His continuing love for the world (Luke 10:2 ; 19:10; Matthew 18:11-14 ; 10:32-33), to bring people to a saving knowledge of God through Christ (John 3:16; Romans 10:13-15) and to minister to the totality of human need ( Matthew 25:31-46; James 1:27; Luke 10:29-37).

The scope of the MTF Mission Program includes the following:

• Promote increased mission awareness.
• Organized mission month activity.
• Develop regular and effective prayer support for missionaries/missions of CABC.
• Identify and encourage potential missionaries in the church.
• Minister to the needs of missionaries while in the field and on furlough.
• Organize missionary meetings and seminars on missions.
• Mission trips which will nurture our people.
• Plan and prepare annual mission budget.
• Liaise between the church and missionary organizations and agencies.
